He’s getting more air time on Glee. Good. That’ll keep me interested for a few more episodes. Especially, um, if he keeps dancing with his shirt off. But not gratuitously, oh no. Like it has to totally make sense with the storyline, you know?

One of the things I love most about Taylor Kitsch in Friday Night Lights was how he’d protest the taking off of his shirt, randomly, just because. TK was getting tired of turning the show into a calendar project. I’m down with that. Sorry but it’s cheesy watching a hot guy just step into the shower for absolutely no reason. I thought that sh-t only worked on middle aged desperates at the peeler bar. Which is why I always find that scene in The Proposal so funny. When they take Sandra Bullock to the local strip club and there’s Oscar from The Office being pathetic and all the town ladies are hootin’ and hollerin’ like it’s the only time all year they get to go out.

Anyway, major digression aside, my point is Mike Chang’s attributes should definitely be showcased more on Glee but not in the same spirit as all their recent musical interludes, thematically forced for the sake of it. I pass.

Tonight though, as you know, is the big Britney episode. Fine then. But after that can we move on to a real story?

Last night a few of the Glee boys, including Harry Shum Jr, were at the Guitar Hero launch in Hollywood. Harry played alongside Mark Salling and Cory Monteith was there too.
