Sexy Hugh Jackman escorted his senior citizen co-star Granny Freeze to the photo call and premiere of Australia today in Australia. As you can see, he’s as dashing as ever. And she, while stately and elegant, looks like she’s 60 despite the flawless skin.
Nicole Kidman thinks herself Australia’s princess. Her wardrobe selection certainly supports that: at both the photo call and on the red carpet, all eyes were on Royal Granny as she greeted her subjects indulgently. The husband was there too. But irrelevant, really. After all, right now, and probably always, it’s all about Her. And, taking a page out of Angelina Jolie’s playbook last week upon seeing the “retirement” headlines whip around the world, Nicole too tried to make us care about how long she’ll be sticking around:
"In terms of my future as an actor and stuff, I don't know," she said. "I mean, I'm in a place in my life where I've had some great opportunities – but I may just choose to have some more children. Besides, there's many things I want to do besides act. I'm very at peace."
Poor Gran must be senile.
She forgot that it was just last week announced that she’ll be starring in and producing The Danish Girl opposite Charlize Theron, playing a man playing a woman.
Oh no matter. What matters is that Nicole is a mother now. And fertile. So she’s trying for more babies. Because she’s loving being a mom to Sunday Rose who was left behind in Nashville for the trip to Australia in support of the film
"I had to leave her for 24 hours. I haven't done that yet, and so I'm still reeling."
So they must have hired a daytime nanny then, right? Last week she said she didn’t have one yet so the one who sits in the trailer all day feeding her baby must have a different title.
