Here are Iker Casillas and Sara Carbonero in Madrid the other night, out for dinner with friends and family, continuing to ride the World Cup high, inseparably. As you know, I love it when they’re inseparable. Their inseparability is my obsession.

Some of you have emailed because you’re playing our favourite game Photo Assumption (why are you playing without me???) and concluding that Iker seems way more into Sara than the other way around. Like he’s always kissing her, he’s always wrapped around her, he’s always initiating...

What’s the problem?

This girl, she KNOWS how to play. I love her.

Besides, it’s not like Iker doesn’t have a rather active romantic history of his own. This makes me happy too. So many of these athletes, they’re married by 20 with children. Iker is patient. He has so many options. Not too long ago he was working on a piece called Ana Isabel – click here to see - and then 3 months later it’s all about Sara.

Both have game. And it’s early. It’s going to get better.
