I think ... Royal Olympic Fever might be over. Prince William mentioned to CTV’s Brian Williams the other day that he’d have to get back to work very soon and wouldn’t be able to be in London through the Games. I guess we’ll always have the hug at the velodrome. Someone wrote to me this weekend suggesting the possibility of an heir called Olympia in 10 months. I suspect they might consider it low classy up there in Buckingham Palace to christen a future monarch by conception inspiration.
Christine Sinclair ... did everything she could. She is today’s Olympic face.
Apologies if it all seems a little distracted today - am writing this while watching Marcel Nguyen and the parallel bars finals. It is CRAZY how pretty he is. Even his hair is perfect.
