Dear Gossips,
I really, really want to see Boyhood this weekend. Duana and Lara went the other night and yesterday sent an email to a few of our friends with the title “ALERT”:
“Boyhood made me love Ethan Hawke again. Use at your own risk.”
That is a risk. Because I’d been going off Troy Dyer for a while. And then… Before Midnight. Also, there was a Before Sunrise/Sunset/Midnight marathon on TV recently. That didn’t help either.
Experiment: Can Richard Linklater’s Ethan Hawke stand up after a viewing of Billy Idol’s Ethan Hawke? This is what I’ll do as soon as I leave the theatre after Boyhood. Pull up a shot of Billy Ethan Hawke on my phone as a fickle test.
Trying to decide whether or not I should blind you again today and make it a 3-blind week. It’s Friday and so many people are taking off early. Hold to next week or do now? Tell me.
