Something called the Young Hollywood Awards happened yesterday. Ashley Greene was named “Superstar of Tomorrow”. And she also hosted. So...which request came first?
Is Marina Abramovic: The Artist Is Present opening in your city this weekend? That’s where I’ll be. I remember I kept wondering while reading Kevin Wilson’s The Family Fang, about a family of performance artists, whether or not the reaction was part of the art. After a short few minutes of googling apparently I’m a cultural pig for thinking it. Some people don’t believe in Abramovic’s speciality. Others, like James Franco, are sophisticated enough to appreciate it. Because in his mind, he’s almost there? Maybe that should be Abramovic’s next project. Or, maybe, that was her intention when she included him in her film. I’ll let you know after I’ve seen it. Is James Franco to Art what Justin Timberlake is to Acting?
Sweden or England? I can’t decide. And the US Open? As I always say - anyone but Phil.
It’s Fathers Day on Sunday. Check my dad a few weeks ago, 64 years old, during his half marathon. Come on. He’s the cutest thing you’ve ever seen.
