Younger, faster, stronger? Most of the time, I guess.
But if you watched the BET Awards last night and the tribute to Janet Jackson, that choreography not only still holds up, it’s a challenge for the new generation. And the drop-step-walk from Rhythm Nation will never, ever, ever not look good. So, no, that is definitely not the end. Janet is back. And she more than made up for the excessive amount of Chris Brown during the show.
Smokey Robinson did too. First Smokey lectured the audience about being too far up their own asses and to stop being so spoiled. “So don’t be so full of yourselves.” And this happened right after Diddy introduced him after bigging himself up first. Then Smokey performed and I almost got pregnant. Like, if I had any interest in having a baby, Smokey would have made that happen.
