Dear Gossips,
Most agree that movies adapted from books are rarely better than the source. Exceptions? Devil Wears Prada is my usual go-to for this and soon maybe Life Of Pi. As I’ve already mentioned, probably too many times, I feel like the only person in the world who wasn’t into it. This makes me dumb, I know, and I’ve tried, I’ve tried a few times but I still don’t care. In my case then, Life Of Pi the film will probably be an improvement. I just wish Beasts Of The Southern Wild could have had the same support. Beasts will be released on DVD on December 4th. I promise you it’s worth it. And little Quvenzhané Wallis is a very strong possibility for an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.
