Dear Gossips,
Tracy Morgan returned to Saturday Night Live this weekend. And it was the best show all season. The season’s only 3 weeks old though so…how about it was the best show in at least a year? And not just because everyone was just so relieved to see that Tracy is OK. But because, maybe, Tracy being OK meant that everyone had to bring their best game. Tracy being OK, more than OK, brought along Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski and Alec Baldwin and, oh yeah, even Larry David.
Even the cold open was good. Really good. Which should probably tell you that the writers kinda half-assed it the first two weeks with Miley Cyrus and Amy Schumer and saved all their best pitches for Tracy week?
You know what? This doesn’t bother me. Especially not when I’m laughing at and loving so much a random ass Jackie Chan sketch near the end of the show.
It was a strong weekend in gossip. That’s why we’re starting so early.
