Dear Gossips,
Yesterday I posted about Serial and the upcoming TV show, suggesting Alia Shawkat for Sarah Koenig. Alia is 26. And Sarah is 46. So a few of you yelled at me for not picking someone closer in age. I swear to you I had no idea. In every picture of Sarah I’ve ever seen, she looks 30 to me. I think it’s because when I see her I just think Brooklyn, and in my mind, everyone in Brooklyn is 30.
Anyway, many of you suggested Michaela Watkins from the Funny Or Die parody. Click here if you haven’t seen it. Lizzy Caplan came up a lot too. And Catherine Keener a few times. All of them get my vote.
Taylor Swift is in Toronto tonight for the first of two shows. Ryan Adams is in town too so that’s a possibility, considering he remade her entire album and, um, well, some other things. If you’re going, look for me. I’ll be the oldest person there who knows all the words.
