Did you watch American Horror Story last night? Well, if you’re in Canada, probably not. As noted the other day, American Horror Story doesn’t air here until October 31, a fact that bit my ass last night when Sarah from Cinesnark messaged me two minutes into the premiere telling me how freaked out she was.

American Horror Story stars the irresistible Connie Britton, lovingly known to many of us as Tami Taylor. Tami Taylor told Us Weekly that the Friday Night Lights movie is definitely happening. She said it’s happening “for realsies”. Like the script is in being worked on right now and they will be coming together to shoot it and they’re just looking at schedules right now.

Thing is...

I’m sure it won’t suck. I’m sure, because we know these people and these people don’t suck, that they’ll make it good. But I have my 5 seasons on DVD. And I visit them often. And I also stop to watch the re-runs on YTV here in Canada and, well, you know, that’s enough for me. Especially the way they said goodbye six months ago, it was enough for me.

Um, have you started watching yet? Because it’s so easy to start watching now. On ESPN, on Apple TV, like everywhere. Way better than that goddamn Pan Am. And I wouldn’t be nagging your ass if I didn’t think you were missing something truly special.
