This is Jenna Fischer at the premiere of Walk Hard last night – yet another Judd Apatow project with high hopes. Jenna plays the female lead opposite John C Reilly, her June to his Johnny. For Jenna, it could be a career defining moment.

And this is what she wore. THIS is what she wore.

Where to begin?

First…the hair. It’s not her hair. It’s her mom’s hair. It’s matron hair. And it goes with her matron dress. And the matron makeup. And the matron shoes. And while Jenna doesn’t necessarily need to be a fashionista, she most certainly doesn’t need to be a frump, does she?

The problem with what happened here is that she tried. She wanted it badly. If not, why not a simple black dress? No, no… an outing like this implies effort. But if the inclination is there, if she wants to make a carpet splash, then we’re going to need a stylist.

Jenna needs a stylist.
