Don’t forget the exclamation point.
It’s not just 40 and Fabulous. It must be 40 and Fabulous!
This is how it was shoved down our throats last February when Jennifer Aniston celebrated her milestone birthday. And it’s how she continues to sell it on the cover of the new Elle.
She’s single and strong and she’s worked hard and goddamn it she loves herself! Now hug yourself! Praise yourself!
Oprah Winfrey would want you to.
But if this is true, why the John Mayer press f-ckery?
It’s one thing to proclaim that you’re all secure and sh-t about growing older and being called lonely, it’s another to hook up a young stud douche and use the relationship to keep convincing us that you’re desirable.
But Jen says she knows what you’re saying about her and she owns it:
"I'm not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It's fine. I can take it. (I’ll support) anybody who is in a place that's not their strongest [but] is ready to push forward. If I'm the emblem for 'this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,' so be it. I can make fun of myself. And I'll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up."
She’s so honest, non?
Because her mother was honest with her?
"I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, 'Oh, honey, you're so funny.' So, she doesn't lie to me . . . She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength."
No, actually. Her greatest strength, as we all know, is HER HAIR. Her hair and her nipples.
And wouldn’t you know, here she is on the cover playing with her hair. She acts with her hair too. Make that your next drinking game.
Put in a Jennifer Aniston DVD, throw back a shot every time she touches her hair. You’ll be hospitalised after 20 minutes.
Photos attached of Jen, the lonely girl, walking around in NY on set with her bodyguards yesterday.
Lonely Girls… by the great Lucinda Williams. Have you heard it? One of the best. I can’t find it to embed online. But her voice…
It’s probably Jen’s theme song now. F-ck.
