Us Weekly is reporting exclusively that Jennifer Aniston is supposedly taking a yearlong break from making movies, now that she's found happiness and love with Justin Theroux. Jen has Horrible Bosses due out soon and then Wanderlust with Paul Rudd and Theroux (they became friendly on that set) later this year and then apparently plans to put her career on hiatus. She will however continue to work on The Goree Girls project which she wants to produce - a film about female inmates who start a band. And guess what? She wants Justin to write the script. Convenient.
When it comes to celebrities, and particularly of Aniston's stature and wealth, how does "break time" differ from "work time"? You show up on a movie set, it lasts for 3 months, usually, at most, unless it's some kind of epic, and until the promotion, it's not that they have to go to the office, you know? Aniston, yearlong break or no, still makes it to Mexico rather often, and other holiday destinations too, and spends a lot of time in the pool at her place. I wonder if the people who take breaks are the ones who need them the least.
Now that she has a boyfriend though, naturally, the next assumption they’ll make is that this break will allow for Jen to start working on those phantom baby plans. Jennifer Aniston pregnant...Good or Bad for Gossip?
Me, and this has nothing to do with that the fact that I don’t want children for myself, I think Single Jen, No Kids is Good for Gossip. With Single Jen, there’s always a story. Aside from the invaluable pap shots that will no doubt be sought after if she does actually develop a bump, how exciting is it actually going to be when Jen has a baby girl and calls her Serenity? I could be wrong.
