Jennifer Garner covers the new issue of InStyle. A LOT of gushing happens in the article. Gushing over her husband, gushing about her marriage.

There have been rumours swirling about the Afflecks for years. There have been several reports calling for their split several times. And each time I have written that I don’t see it. Because while he may, um, lose focus now and again, like when he’s directing movies OF COURSE, what else did you think?, you must also consider her part in the partnership. And it’s very much a partnership. She has a very specific idea about this partnership and a very pragmatic approach to it. Not unlike Gwyneth Paltrow, actually. And ironically.

Right now, the expectant Afflecks are strong, stronger perhaps than ever, as you can tell from the confidence behind her comments to the magazine:

"We both know we couldn't do what we do without each other. Ben always says, 'If you love it, we can make it happen.'  He knows when to swoop in with the gesture. He's sweet that way. Honestly, I would do anything for that man, because I know it's not taken for granted."

The grand gesture we’re referring to is “a pair of pink and white diamond Harry Winston bands, one for each of their two daughters”.

When else would a grand gesture be appropriate? Certainly not after a long shoot out of town, working closely with a group of actors, where the paps can’t see and the tabloids can’t penetrate.
