That makes sense if you’ve seen Trainwreck. So if you don’t know all the connections here, go see Trainwreck.

Two days ago, the New York Times told us that Jennifer Lawrence told them that she and Amy Schumer were writing a movie together about best friends. During that interview she also said that she’d be leaving for Chicago the next day to hook up with Amy to do some more work.

Last night in Chicago the two joined Billy Joel onstage, along with some other friends, for their own #Squad concert moment.

So…does that look like a girl who’d be all up Chris Martin’s ass for being “non-committal”? Please.

Hollywood has given us a new favourite pair of best friends. One is the highest paid actress in the business, the other is the hottest female comic in the business. They’re pitching a movie together. I’m curious to see how this is going to be received at the studio level. You think it’s a no-brainer. But you’ve also seen how many excuses Hollywood manages to come up with whenever they’re asked about female developed projects. Who’s dumb enough to turn this one down?
