Up close and in person, the tailoring of her dress and jacket was exquisite. It's hard to explain but the weight of the material was obvious, you know? It looked ...rich. As I'm writing this on blackberry, I'm not sure if that's evident in photos. But that's the shine risk, non?
Having said that, I feel like this may have been too formal for the Spirit Awards and the beach. This is a 130pm show. If it's one event you can afford to casual down, it's this one. Then again, I guess not everyone is a Best Actress Oscar contender.
