She insists that her thing is not His thing. That it’s her own thing. And yet, no one else knows what her thing is.

Here’s Jessica Biel covering the new issue of Glamour Magazine, perhaps her best photo shoot. The styling is great. She looks great. Asking her to BE great is a different story. It’s not just that she’s dull, it’s mostly that she’s so obvious.

When asked by Glamour about her own identity, because she totally has one, Shelfy’s response was naturally to enlighten us to the fact that she does indeed independently, um, exist apart from Justin Timberlake:

GLAMOUR: Sure. How do you stay solid when you’re romantically linked to a big star? Because his thing is no small thing. How do you maintain your thing alongside his?

JESSICA BIEL: I guess I would say my thing is just as wonderful. And that’s the only way—when you each have your own world and it’s just as great.

Then she goes on to talk about how ultra-private she is. Sure. At this point even I know her hiking schedule.

Jessica’s next project is the Vivaldi biopic, playing the woman who inspired Four Seasons opposite Luke Evans as the composer. I asked Evans about this in Cannes and the first thing he said when I mentioned his co-star was that he couldn’t wait to shoot with her because she’s so fantastic to look at. Then he followed that up with a comment about how goodlooking she is. And what a tough job it would be to go to work to admire her hotness all day. There’s was no more to it than that. Which is kind of what one would probably say about Rosie Huntington-Whiteley in Transformers 3. Because she certainly wasn’t hired for her acting ability.
