So Jessica Simpson wrote on her site yesterday that she’s heading to Kuwait to perform for the troops. Somehow the paps immediately found her at the airport. Jess of course is providing a much needed boost to the morale of those stationed overseas – her vocal gymnastics is surely what they need to chill out, take their minds off fighting and warring for a change.
But here’s the thing – is it really altruistic if there are cameras following her around, documenting the visit for her reality special? Word is some of the footage will be used for Joe Simpson’s new pimp project to banked when Jessica releases her country album.
Jess says she’ll head back to the studio soon as she gets back from Kuwait and the record is expected to drop some time this year.
You didn’t really think Joe would send her to perform for the troops out of the goodness of his own heart, did you?
