That loser was in Miami last night “performing”. Was heckled from the crowd and deservedly so which prompted Joaquin to jump the dude. Melee ensued, Phoenix is hauled away, Casey Affleck naturally shot the whole thing, and they probably laughed about it at the hotel afterwards the entire night.

Some are calling it a set up, more shenanigans as part of the big lame hoax.

Other bleeding hearts are saying it’s another sign of meltdown.

Some of you have emailed asking for Joaquin Phoenix to be labelled sad smut, certain that his behaviour must be the result of drug addiction or depression. Mainstream media outlets like Entertainment Weekly that have previously reported this as an obnoxious stunt would likely disagree with you.

It’s in our nature I think to want to attribute assy-ness to affliction. There has to be a reason, an explanation – no one is assy, just because.

I disagree.

I think some people just suck. Not because they’re sick, not because they’re suffering, but because they simply suck. For instance, I’m a bitch. I wasn’t abused, I don’t have a drug problem, I don’t have emotional issues…I’m simply a bitch. A petty, selfish, shallow person.
