Because, really, this is so tired.

John Mayer was apparently hanging out with Ricky Van Veen the other day. Van Veen is the co-founder of CollegeHumor, so one of those hipster geek cool kids. You know what John’s like around the cool kids. Because he never was a cool kid. And he has spent his whole life trying to matter to the cool kids even after the cool kids became nothing with receding hairlines and he turned into some kind of pseudo rock God with a full head.

Still John Mayer can’t get over it. And, as noted time and again on this blog, this insecurity is the root cause of most of his blunders. It’s like he’s constantly trying to pull his dick out to show that it’s not small. Here’s how he tried to prove it to Van Veen:

“While out recently with comedy Web site College Humor's Ricky Van Veen at Wicker Park on the Upper East Side, a young woman approached him. According to our source, midway through the conversation, ever-smooth Mayer laid down a line on the fan, claiming that he could see her future -- "He said that she was going to make someone very happy one day, as long as she remembered to talk dirty while having sex," the source said. It’s almost... pitiful, non? The kid’s an eternal loser.
