Is two in a row considered a trend? George Clooney was out last week at a benefit in New York. And he stepped out for the second week in a row last night, this time with Amal, in support of The 100 LIVES initiative, to honour those who saved Armenian lives during the genocide 100 years ago. You’ll recall, Amal is part of the legal team representing Armenia in their appeal in the Dogu Perincek case at the European Court of Human Rights. Full Story

Calm.It was a planned protest with an expected result. His dad, Nick Clooney, was with him. This was their intent. To be outside the Sudanese embassy, continuing to raise awareness for the victims of genocide in Sudan, in particular the Nuba Mountains, causing a scene, calling out Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir of blocking food and aid into his country, actions that have resulted in a humanitarian crisis. Full Story

And no, it’s not the First Lady, though he did sit next to her at the White House state dinner last night in honour of British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha. George has been in Washington DC for the last couple of day lobbying the government for intervention in Sudan, insisting that the world is ignoring the atrocities happening there, specifically in the Nuba Mountains, and pleading urgently with Congress to help innocent civilians who are getting shot at, literally, with rockets. Full Story
