Sometimes I worry that Jon Hamm is too perfect – he’s handsome, he’s funny, he’s smart, he’s talented, he’s humble, he’s chill, he doesn’t have a massive ego, he will make a fool out of himself whenever you ask him to, he will dance, like an ass, and he’ll even sing, badly, for not even that much money. And Jon Hamm got famous later, when he was more mature, so the f-ckery, if there was any, came and went out of the public eye. Kinda like George Clooney, yes. Except that George’s freak is still alive and well, just hidden under a lot of money.
I don’t want Jon Hamm to be a freak. I want him to be as he is. What’s wrong with ordinary? Ordinary is so underrated.
Hamm was on the set of Mad Men yesterday shooting by a pool, the unsmiling morose Don Draper, in several costume changes finishing up the final episodes of the season and SPOILER ALERT, maybe a new love interest. I don’t know why this would be a spoiler – it’s Don Draper after all – but I know some of you bitches lose your sh-t over inadvertent spoilers and I don’t want to be yelled at over Jon Hamm. Jon Hamm should only bring happiness. Like whenever I watch this video.
