It’s not a bad apology. I mean, I could do without the “I know gay people, I have gay friends” bit but OK, you can hear that he’s genuinely sorry, that he really, really feels sh-tty about it, and, for the most part, doesn’t try to excuse his behaviour by blaming it on the paps. But when he makes a point of reminding us that “I think I’m pretty good at making movies” – the f-ck does that have to do with anything?
