Kanye West hooked up with Jay-Z yesterday in New York for a meeting at the Mercer Hotel. As you can see, he was animal all over with an orange handle handbag and a fur coat to keep warm. Needless to say, Kanye being Kanye, there’s little chance of this being fake.
West and Jay are just coming off their New Year’s Eve in Vegas where they both took the stage at the Cosmopolitan opening with Coldplay. Both are coming off a great 2010. In particular, Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted was named the best album of the year by Rolling Stone. It really was. And that’s only good news for his ego, ever growing, always entertaining.
One of the best things about the year that was of course was Kanye on Twitter. As already noted, it’s like Twitter was made for him. And now his tweets have been immortalised in song by Josh Groban. That certainly adds some gravitas to it, non?
