Even when she was PRESENTING AN OSCAR to Denzel Washington it was about her…
I love my life!
So it was no surprise then at the Tom Hanks tribute last night that she completely stole the show when she opened her goose mouth and cussed up a storm.
"Alright well, it's late and I'm paying my babysitter overtime and I have to pee. So Tom, everybody f-cking likes you. All my bits are gone. Listen, I had lunch today with Rita, and her tits were here [motioned high] and her waist was here [motioned small] and her ass was like that [motioned high], so what can I tell you that's new? Tom Hanks, what the f-ck?
I love the Cohen brothers, but the hair Tom [in Ladykillers], I didn't even know what the f-ck that movie was about! You in the airport with the accent (in Terminal)? It was a pass for me. Airport? Were you just an immigrant lost? I didn't know. I love you, and I didn't know what to do, really. God, I’m wearing the same f-cking dress tonight as your publicist!

So now you’re saying – oh my, what a bitch, she’s such an attention whore, and she stole the spotlight from Tom and all this is true: she is a bitch, she’s totally an attention whore, but here’s the thing….
It wasn’t like the Oscars at all. This was kind of a roast. They all roasted him. She just did it so much better. Much better than, say, Charlize Theron. Charlize Theron actually made people squirm. Julia Roberts however had the room. In a room full of superstars, Julia Roberts owned the room.
Have from several people who were there last night and in person, the way Julia delivered this speech was delightful. Pure charisma and charm, and everyone was entranced.
Does it change the fact that she’s a raging cow? Of course not. But something tells me Tom Hanks didn’t mind too much.
PS. Have you seen Tom Hanks on Jonathan Ross? Thanks to all of you who wrote to remind me about this interview. You’re right. It’s the best. See? He and Julia should sit the young ones down and give a seminar. This is how you show up on a talk show.
