If you’re going to try a choker, you do it under the supervision of Tom Ford, and he makes it so that it’s only half-way there, so that someone, somewhere comes up with a new name for the design feature. I’m not clever enough for it.
For me though, it’s not so much the style of Julianne Moore’s dress as it is the colour, and specifically this colour on this material. In certain light, especially on the red carpet, the way it shapes around her breasts, it’s kinda like those plates they put underneath a female superhero’s chest. If she turned around and started taking down publicists with her fists, I’d totally believe it. If I could find a nail polish that was exactly, and I mean exactly this shade of blue, with sparkle, I would wear it every single day for months.
