Jussie Smollett has released a statement about the attack, which is in line with the statement his family released yesterday: that he has been “factual and consistent” in what he’s told authorities, that there have been inaccuracies reported about whether or not he’s refused to cooperate, and that he remains hopeful and is resilient.
