We’ve seen so little of Justin Timberlake this year. Instead, Janet Jackson’s making a comeback. So, you know, JT can stay low for a while longer. I don’t mind, do you?
As you know, JT’s wife had a baby for him this year which is one of the reasons he’s maintained a low profile. He was out this weekend though at the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament in Lake Tahoe. Remember when Justin had his own golf tournament with Shriners? Remember when he no longer had his own golf tournament because he and Shriners broke up? Remember when the tournament chair said that the partnership had ended because:
“Justin's a wonderful person. But it seemed that when the TV cameras weren't on, he disappeared."
It’s important to remember. Because those aren’t comments coming from a blogger. Those are comments coming from a charity representative. And they are totally related to character.
Anyway, for this tournament, JT was paired with Alfonso Ribeiro who was unhappy with his tee shot at 17. To cheer him up, JT suggested that he throw down the Carlton. And they did it together.
Actually… that’s not exactly how it went down.
Let’s rewind and break it down more accurately:
Alfonso was unhappy with his tee shot. He tossed his club. The crowd was cheering and encouraging. That means Alfonso was getting all the attention. And THEN Justin Timberlake steps in and the dancing ensues.
There. That’s more like the JT you know, right?
