Remember when Pippy went to the Oscars with NSync to sing Music of My Heart? They should replay that clip while introducing him this year. Can you imagine how he’d react? He would f-cking lose it. (I couldn’t find the video online. But I did find another one. The beginning will make you really happy. And then a lot of amazingness follows from there.)
So anyway, THR reports that Justin Timberlake has been invited to present at the Oscars on Sunday. Which means he’ll make the entire moment about himself, as he always does. He has that in common actually with Julia Roberts.
Pip of course is attending in his capacity as an Actor. He has three movies due out this year – Bad Teacher, Friends With Benefits, and Now. His girlfriend meanwhile hasn’t had a release in a long, long time. Jessica Biel is currently working on New Year’s Eve in New York and it looks like her next project will also be in a supporting role in a silly romantic comedy about a children’s soccer coach played by Gerard Butler who has to ward off the advances of all the horny cougar moms. Gripping. Shelfy will play Spittle’s ex-wife. Uma Thurman is expected to be his new love interest. (Source)
So we’re talking about the quality of The Bounty Hunter with the combined box office records of Biel and Uma Thurman? Last year, Thurman put out a movie called Motherhood that made $150. That’s not a typo. In other words, what are your expectations of Playing the Field?
