People Magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2006 is expected to be announced tomorrow, and like at any beauty pageant where the outgoing queen is given the opportunity for a final farewell lap, I think it’s only fair to offer the same for Matthew McConaughey, even though he wore the crown so poorly. Please find included a selection of photos that earned him the honour and then see for yourself how just a year later, after receiving such a gift, he decided to piss it all away – most recently this week in Australia where he is shooting a movie with Kate Hudson. So is there a curse? Is Dempsey the lock? Will it be George, or Hugh, or my pick Damon? Do we even want any of those guys to win, especially if there IS a curse??? One more day…stay tuned.
