The new cover of PEOPLE features Katie Holmes, presumably because she has a movie coming out – Miss Meadows.
Great!
Time to promote. Time to sell. Time to SHARE. After all, that’s what you exchange when you agree to front a supermarket magazine, right?
OK, Katie. I’m ready. “My Own Story” is what they’re calling it. Yes. Let’s hear it! Give us the story!
"I feel ready for new challenges,” Katie tells the magazine.
Um. Haven’t we heard that before? Since you escaped from your marriage, I’m pretty sure that’s the only thing you say. Got anything else?
"I don't have any fear now, I don't have a lot of rules for myself, and I don't take myself that seriously."
Also:
“(My child) means everything to me. I'm learning every day, and I have been since the minute I became a mom."
And:
"I don't want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don't want that to be what I'm known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now."
Oh My God, that could be anyone. If I took her face off this post and just gave you those quotes, you wouldn’t know who was saying them. And it’s the same generic sh-t everyone else – celebrity or otherwise – says anyway.
If I’m PEOPLE Magazine then, I’m really questioning the value here. It may be an “exclusive” but what’s the point when it’s SO boring?
