Stylish British hair sisters make me really happy too!
Keira Knightley and Carey Mulligan were lovely together today at the London Film Festival photo call for Never Let Me Go. SO cute. The hair is the same-ish now, and they were born 2 months apart, just 25, and both nominated for Oscars, and both among the elites on a short list of top actresses, and neither one of them have these issues.
It’s actually really nice seeing Knightley after a long absence, non? You know, a lot of people out there care more about the Kardashian people than they do about Keira Knightley these days. What in the f-ck?
Laura’s in town right now to work on We Day. Last night we went out for dinner and she told me about a conversation she had with someone during TIFF about why overseas actresses like Cate and Kate are winning more interesting roles these days than their American counterparts. The answer is that a lot of casting agents can’t find American actresses with faces that move anymore, especially ones in their 30s and 40s. Not to say it doesn’t happen at all over there, of course not, but well, a lot of people believe it happens a lot less. Agree or disagree?
Also attached – their co-star Andrew Garfield. Have been receiving a lot of horny mail about him lately. The acting is wonderful, for sure, SOOOO talented. But enough to make you quiver in the business? Really? I don’t know, in person, for me it’s not there. Also, Laura had serious problems with the, I don’t know, swirly-ness of his ‘do. It was a bit too much at TIFF.
