You heard it, right? Arguably the gentlest Ricky Gervais joke of the night was pointing out that Jeong and Hart would probably be ripe for adoption by the Jolie-Pitts. If Lainey were beside me she’d be yelling about the fact that there was no Brad Pitt cutaway. Why no cutaway?

The joke is double-barbed, of course, because neither Hart nor Jeong is tall…and for that other reason that you’re thinking of. And they’re presenting together because they’re both in Ride Along 2. But, you know, it’s not like there were so many other Asian men tonight who weren’t taking one for the team on this kind of joke, right?

Oh, and did they have to wait until the cameras were watching before they slowly, sloooowlly lowered the mic? Do you feel like someone backstage was trolling them?
