I don’t mean to be happy when they weren’t out for a happy reason, but next to Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, there isn’t a young couple I love more, right now at least, than Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund. Especially when they look like they just woke up well after noon. God I miss being lazy in my 20s. When you’re an actor, sometimes that’s every decade. Remember, they don’t work for months and months and months at a time.

Here they are in her neighbourhood yesterday putting up flyers for her lost cat.

Garrett was supposed to be in talks to join the cast of the Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis. Filming begins in New York in a couple of weeks, his first film since wrapping on Walter Salles’s On The Road which is rumoured to be screening at the Cannes Film Festival in a few months. Kirsten won Best Actress in Cannes last year. Not that it’s her style but it wouldn’t be a bad place to do the carpet for the first time as a couple. And then spend the rest of the time lounging by the pool at Hotel du Cap.
