As always, committed to her image, Lady Gaga departed Vancouver after two shows this weekend dressed in leather, studs, and rhinestones. Actually rather tame by her standards. Gaga posed with fans before heading to the gate, through security, where her metals had to be further examined. I love these photos so much, standing there on tiptoe loaded up with spikes, it’s amazing in its ridiculousness. And then of course for some reason she changes sunglasses.

I was at Gaga’s second concert the other night – a few photos are attached. Her body right now is great, a relief too because the last time I saw her, about 9 months ago, she was very, very thin. And now the curves are back, her ass is back, she looks healthy, she sounds strong, and there seems to be no stopping it, her domination.

Gaga will feature heavily at the MTV VMAs in two weeks as she’s now the artist with the most nominations ever in a single year, and the first female artist to be nominated for two different videos for Video of the Year. She also owns Twitter for most followers, and while everyone else in music is complaining that touring has taken a financial hit, her tour is set to make $200 million AND her new album is already complete, to be released early 2011, with very, very high expectations, including her own:

“(It is) my absolute greatest work I've ever done, and I'm so excited about it...The message, the melodies, the direction, the meaning, what it will mean to my fans and what it will mean to me in my own life -- it's utter liberation."
