Do you like the song? Lady Gaga’s Perfect Illusion? I can’t decide. I know I don’t hate it. But I don’t know if love it. I don’t know if it’s major banger for me.
With Gaga, with every release, there’s always an aesthetic, a look that accompanies each creative chapter. Right now, while we don’t know exactly when the full album is coming out (she’s promising that it will be soon and that she’s working on the finishing touches) we do know the styling. Gaga’s all about short shorts and crop tops with under-breast. Is it giving you a little Madonna Borderline/Lucky Star vibe?
I don’t hate it. Not at all. In fact, I think I prefer this version of Gaga style to that Old Hollywood long gloves and gowns things she was all about when she was performing with Tony Bennett. It’s about as low maintenance as we’ve ever seen from her.
