Larry Rudolph confirmed it yesterday – Britney will NOT be performing at the VMAs. Boo.

But performing is one thing, appearing is another entirely. Am told there is still a chance for that and why not? Can’t say it enough or more enthusiastically: Brit is looking better and better. SO much better.

Here she is yesterday leaving Pottery Barn. Ignore the turned out feet and the heels. Ignore the denim capris (ew!), focus instead on the confidence of her stride, the body language, her pretty face re-emerging…

The VMAs are simply not the same without Britney Spears. Even when she’s tripping all over herself and flinging off her fake nails, the VMAs are simply not the same.
