Lea Michele and Cory Monteith attended the Fox Upfront presentation the other day in New York to represent Glee. They’ll both be back for Season 4...as ratings have steadily declined over the year. Some are saying that next year could be the last? Must be why Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker have signed on to guest star. That way, Gwyneth can casually mention to them that she was on the show in its prime.

Here are Lea and Cory, holding hands, shopping in Soho yesterday. The show is on hiatus now. It’s the first summer of their love? What will that look like?

Anyway, all this was just an excuse to write about an interview I totally missed late last year of Lea talking about Les Miserables. The other night in England, after the Snow White junket at the press dinner, as we were exchanging stories and, well, talking sh-t about celebrities and our experiences, someone (hi T!) brought up the time Lea addressed all the casting rumours for Les Miserables and said she didn’t want to talk about it because she didn’t want it to be like the time Dianna Agron was up for Spider-Man and Emma Stone got it instead...

Vulture: How many reporters have asked you about (Les Miserables) while you've been promoting (New Year’s Eve)?
Lea Michele: A lot, I can't believe it. How embarrassing if I don't get it! [Laughs.] I was just talking to my publicist yesterday that it didn't used to be like this in the business: I've been up for a lot of movies before that I really wanted to get, but now, people know a lot more than they used to and it's all out there. Like, I remember when my co-star Dianna [Agron] was up for Spider-Man that the news was online, and I felt really uncomfortable for her. I mean, yeah, it's super cool that you're in consideration, but it's also a really private thing, and then if you don't get it … but I'm happy to be considered, and I'm happy to be in the realm of the other girls who are being considered because that's the coolest thing for me. When I heard the other people they were considering, I was like, Wow, this is awesome. I became like, a fan dork girl. (Source)

God she cannot help herself, you know? Or, rather, this girl could never ever help herself. Is it different now that she’s with Cory?
