The King of Queens goes off the air after 9 seasons so Leah Remini, better known as Jennifer Lopez’s BFF and scientological life coach, is promoting a new project: an internet series called In the MotherHood.

Thing is, it’s really too bad about the weirdness and the chills, you know? Because Leah is actually pretty entertaining. She’s sassy, she’s loud, at times obnoxious, definitely the girlfriend we all have who calls it like it is and isn’t afraid to hurt your feelings.

I want so much to like her…but for the alien jumping on the couch between us. Sigh.

Read below – excerpts from Leah’s interview with (who else!?!) blatant Cruise and Travolta asskissers People Magazine:

On whether or not The King of Queens was underrated:
Who are you tellin"!? I"m not one of those people who goes, "Oh, I"m glad we had a show on this long." I want awards!

On being high maintenance:
I just like to b---h. I"m the kind of person, you invite me on a private jet, and I"m not thankful. I go, "How do they not have a cappuccino maker [on board]?"

On Jennifer Lopez and befriending Xenu:
Two girls can"t hang out together? What does that have to do with religion? I just don"t understand it. I would never question, "Such-and-such is hanging out. Does anybody know her religious beliefs? Because that"s why they"re probably hanging out together." She"s a fabulous girl. I"m fabulous to hang out with. But it"s like, "What could these two have in common? She must be trying to convert her!"

On dangling a baby in exchange for Xenu-loving:
I read once that I was trying to get Jennifer to do Scientology because it helps with fertility. I don"t know what that"s about. That"s bull – that we"re sitting there at the Polo Lounge talking about fertility. I think Jennifer knows how to get pregnant.

On dealing with the rumours:
That kind of stuff is funny. When I read that kind of stuff, I go, "that"s not true! We weren"t talking about that." Or that we believe in the aliens. My hairstylist believes in aliens. Why doesn"t that get printed? She says she has been abducted a few times!

On missing the full-time gig:
Completely! You get so used to [the routine]. It"s going to take me some time to deal with it. Thank God I have work. I have my family. I have Jennifer to convert. I have things I gotta do! (Hee. Love that last part – great sense of humour…again, just too bad about the chills, you know?)
PS. Had to snort while reading through the latest Us Weekly on the plane. Headline: Tom’s Ex Comes to His Defence…the ex being Mimi Rogers who says rumours of marital strain between Tom and Katie sound ridiculous. Mimi is of course the MOST reliable person on the subject seeing as she was the one who introduced him to the Church in the first place, right?

Right.
