Oh this is a good look. Leighton Meester wore Balmain to the premiere of The Judge last night. Perfect dress choice. I love it.
Leighton wrapped up her Broadway run in the summer. She’s completed a couple of other film projects and is also still doing some television. But I feel like her rank on the celebrity scale is… not as high as it should be?
Why isn’t she considered the breakout superstar of Gossip Girl? It’s not like she wasn’t one of the leads. And it wasn’t like Blair Waldorf wasn’t the best character on the show. But the difference could be in what she wants, what she seeks out. Leighton is not best friends with pap agencies. She doesn’t run for the dumpster either but she manages to live it without too gross of a level of famewhoring for it. Is that why?
