What a great black dress. The one shoulder on the same side as the hitched hem. The pleats on the same hip. And it’s ribbed. Perfect combination of modern and classic for a ball gown, right? That makes it a design achievement then, right? Because here’s a woman with an edge. And she found a dress that respects the edge without having to go all the way outside the box. Well done on the accessories too. Just a black cuff and some earrings, all business and spare. I like to imagine that that’s how Lena Headey approaches fashion – knows exactly what she wants, isn’t fussy, doesn’t second-guess, and just wants to get to the bar.
