Don’t get too excited. Or at all. This story comes from Life&Style so it’s like the time an Australian magazine claimed that Prince Harry and Emma Watson are boyfriend-girlfriend which they are not.
Still, bonus points for creativity. On both counts.
Life&Style is claiming that Leonardo DiCaprio ignored Rihanna at the SNL40 after-party because he couldn’t stay away from Dakota Johnson. Their description of how it all supposedly went down is hilarious and worth reading in its entirety:
Life & Style has learned that during the 'Saturday Night Live' 40th anniversary after-party, sparks flew between Leonardo DiCaprio and 'Fifty Shades of Grey' actress Dakota Johnson!
During the bash, held at The Plaza Hotel, Leo barely glanced at rumored fling Rihanna. Instead, “he put his arm around Dakota and led her into the grand ballroom,” a partygoer exclusively tells 'Life & Style.'
“He told her, ‘Let’s go look at all the celebrities.’”
Sounds like a line — but it worked! “Dakota looked like she was trying to play it cool, but you could tell she was thrilled to have his attention,” the witness says, adding that “out of everyone he socialized with, Leo seemed to be the happiest when he was with Dakota.”
“As they walked away, Leo took the lead and guided her through the crowd, and a small smile spread across her face.”
Um…
“Let’s go look at all the celebrities”???
Do you believe that Leonardo DiCaprio would say “Let’s go look at all the celebrities” to Dakota Johnson as foreplay to putting his janky ass beard between her legs?
The only reason this story is worth your attention is for the Dakota factor. Because despite the box office success of Fifty Shades Of Grey, on a public relations level, there have been very few winners coming out of the situation. Dakota Johnson, however, has emerged as the biggest winner out of the situation. Dakota is the Star. She’s Star enough now to warrant a co-starring role in tabloid fiction alongside Leonardo DiCaprio OVER Rihanna, like that’s a thing that could ever happen in real life.
Dakota is currently single, having broken up with her boyfriend a couple of months ago. Forget Leonardo though, you know what would be an awesome wish for the Gossip Genie? And it’s probably only a matter of time before the tabloids fictionalise this too? How about Dakota Johnson and Robert Pattinson? It’s so obviously obvious it’s actually perfect.
