Okay, so it’s true - I’m on vacation, and the bliss of the sun and the weather has become even more delightful since I realized I can use geotags to find the people who are posing as hard as they can in all-day photo shoots.  But if I weren’t here I would still be buoyed by these delicious updates. Full Article

The other day my ‘little cousin’ (who is now in grade 12) asked me to answer some questions for her English project and it was interesting reading what she was asking. I got the sense that she, and maybe her peers, have a one or two dimensional view of health so I did my best to answer the questions with as much depth and truth as I could. Full Article

This is what I love about great style – it often happens by turning your opinions against you.  If you showed me this colour, for example, for a red carpet look, I wouldn’t be impressed, especially not in combination with this material. Normally, I hate this material. 99% of the time when someone shows up at a dress in this material, I’m a no, thank you, pass. Full Article

Tracee Ellis Ross was also at the Versace fashion show in New York on Sunday night. Last night she was back in LA for the Equality Now Make Equality Reality Gala. Two outfits with sparkle – which do you prefer?  At Versace, Tracee wore blue velvet, with mustard chandelier earrings, and to me the letdown is in the dress. Full Article

Hi Duana, I love the magic you are able to pull off with baby names and am wondering if you might help me name the main characters in a novel I am writing. November is "national write a novel in a month" and I am hoping to finish the sh*tty first draft - something I have been working on for three plus years. Full Article

Sasha Finds: The Winter Camisole

Sasha Posted by Sasha at November 30, 2018 20:10:04 November 30, 2018 20:10:04

The wardrobe workhorse that I feel like gets overlooked all the time for its greatness is the trusty camisole. It’s always there to save the day when you feel frumpy. It will always get you out of an outfit jam when you hate everything you own. And it will always, yes always, be a seasonless piece. Full Article

Hi Duana! Long time reader, fellow name nerd and big fan.  I’m expecting my first child (gender unknown) and, being a naturally indecisive person, am having a hard time with names. I have been thinking about baby names since I was in elementary school but now that it’s go time I’m stuck. Full Article

The question is: would Amber Heard have chosen this dress were she not promoting Aquaman. a movie about a superhero who, I think, is the lord of the sea? King of the sea? Monarch of the sea? Whatever. The point is, there is a world of powerful undersea beings and she plays Mera, a regal creature who protects the marine realm. Full Article

Hi Duana. Our last name is short and Czech and ends in an ‘a’ sound. I’m leaning towards very feminine Italian/Spanish for the first name. The names we are choosing between are Isabela, Amara, Alessandra and Valentina. I like the way the pretty syllables and ‘a’ endings roll off the tongue combined with the surname. Full Article
