This is apparently Lily Allen’s message about cocaine. In a new interview, Lily – who is tight with Lindsay Lohan – believes that people are overreacting when they criticise cocaine use. According to Lily, using cocaine doesn’t necessarily result in the total sh-ts and that it’s all about the fortitude of the user, like if you become an addict, you simply have no game.

“The only story is that drugs are bad and they will kill you - you will become a prostitute, a rapist or a dealer. But that's not true. I know lots of people who take cocaine three nights a week and get up and go to work. But we never hear that side of the story. I wish people wouldn’t sensationalise it. Some people are just bad at taking drugs.”

We should invite her down to Covenant House, come talk to our kids. The ones living on the street, their futures paralysed by addiction. She can tell them they suck for not being badass enough to hit a bump every other day and letting their lives fall apart.

But she is right about something. About the rampant recreational use. Please. In Hollywood it’s as common as smoking. And it keeps you skinny. And it’s not just the young tarts either. It’s also the divorced tv girls posing naked on the cover of magazines to sell their movies. It’s the dad on a hit show working long hours but also determined to stay up and spend time with his family. And of course it’s the desperate actress told she lost out on a part because she was too normal sized.

Coke in moderation, right?

Here’s Lily out and about in London today after showing off a slimmer body on holiday in the sun. She says she got skinny by hypnosis. And a few lines a day?
