Everybody Hates Tori
It is open war, y"all! And Candy Spelling knows how to play! Which means her pathetic plastic mess of a daughter really has no chance.
On the heels of Tori"s ridiculous Us Weekly cover story, Candy and Randy Spelling released a statement today:
"We are deeply saddened that, during our time of loss and grief, we are forced to respond to the media frenzy caused by the mean-spirited and surprising comments made by Tori to the press, just two days after the passing of (Aaron Spelling). As we try to honor his memory with love and respect, the sudden media frenzy she has created at this sensitive time is hurtful and very disturbing. Aaron"s legacy deserved pure and unadulterated tribute and recognition which, sadly, has been tainted.
"Everyone deals with grief in a different way, and since Tori chose not to be here at that time, we believe she is having a harder time dealing with that loss. We understand how difficult it might have been for her to be here, and, perhaps, more difficult for her after she arrived. Aaron loved both his children with all his heart, and he understood how hard it was for her.
"We hope Aaron will be remembered with reverence and spirit for the monumental legacy he has left and not for the petty and tabloid headlines which have marred his articles of remembrance. We have mourned our great loss as a family and will continue to do so as that is what Aaron deserved."
Damn-uh! In the immortal words of Ali G - RESPEK, y"all! Candy Spelling is a brilliant bitch. First she starts off by calling her daughter mean-spirited and low classy, then she wickedly extends the pity card as if to say - "please don"t be mad at Tori, Tori"s only lashing out because she"s so sad, and my poor little girl has never had to deal with anything sad in her entire pink and plastic life!" But just to make sure we"re clear on how much of a lying skank Tori really is, Candy twists the knife just a little bit more by reminding us that "TORI CHOSE NOT TO BE HERE AT THAT TIME" confirming what we all knew anyway: that FIVE DAYS is much much much too long to wait to visit a dying father.
Do you love it or do you love it? And is there any question who Alexis Morrell Carrington Colby Dexter Rowan was modelled after???
Now I know Candy has a reputation, I know mothers can be bitches, and I have no doubt she inflicted her own brand of torture on her children that has since resulted in Tori"s deviant, disgusting behaviour. But in the court of public opinion, rarely has there been a case this lopsided, where nearly everyone has pointed out and convicted the felon, with barely a word of sympathy or understanding. Because who could possibly side with a spoiled, homewrecking, father neglecting, mother attacking c-bomb with a monstrous face and a matching monstrous set of tits?
No one, that"s who.
Here"s what the adorable Shinan Govani had to say in today"s National Post, one of the premiere newspapers in Canada:
"What part of 83 years old plus stroke plus father did Tori not get? And why did she stay on in Toronto for six days after the stroke occurred -- doing interviews to promote her reality show, noTORIous, and even reportedly house-hunting? This, even after the wide dam of melodrama that was unleashed at the MMVAs -- and which even the aliens in outer space have now gotten wind of. "
Now Govani also went on to report that Tori"s Us Weekly"s sob story included details that her mother told her that her father was fine, that he had a healthy prognosis, which did not necessitate a trip back home. But to paraphrase Shinan - how can an 83 year old having a stroke possibly be construed as innocuous??
Then there"s Fox"s Roger Friedman, who implied through his sources today that Tori might not have actually attended the private memorial as has been previously suggested. And while I have to admit Fox is hardly my choice for news, Friedman"s commentary reflects the overwhelming disdain people have for Tori"s antics and whatever your political preference, you cannot argue that her conduct is anything short of revolting:
"Creepy does not even begin to describe what this girl has done...there’s something fishy here about a young woman whose father gift-wrapped her fame with a spot on “Beverly Hills, 90210.” It"s fame she would not have had otherwise. This girl is not an actress. She is no Meryl Streep. She isn’t even Lindsay Lohan. She was simply born into the right mansion at the right time…She and Star Jones are the losers of the week. Each of them needs lessons in manners, graciousness and spin control. Maybe they can get a group rate."
Oh snap! Did he just rank her UNDER Lindsay Lohan? The daughter of a Hollywood legend? Yes, gossips. It is truth indeed. Tori Spelling is as dirty as they come. And no amount of Buddha cleansing is ever going to save her doomed soul. Praise Goddess.
