And she has to do it for herself. Because it’s not like she has a job or anything. So her publicist has nothing to promote. As such, on top of all her other daily activities – shopping, melting down, smoking, getting cranked – she’s now charged with the task of spinning her own drama, making sure she still has some of your attention.

So as you know, Lilo and Samantha Ronson were involved in a major scrap in Miami on new year’s eve which, as usual, resulted in crying and screaming and even at one point at the hotel, Lindsay on her knees looking up at Sam begging: Why are you doing this to me?

They flew back to LA together but, at press time, have not been seen together since. Yesterday both TMZ and Access Hollywood reported that Lilo had moved out, that the two were done.

Like her mother, she couldn’t NOT answer. Like her mother, she had to run to a tabloid to tell her side of the story. This time though, oh shame, the only tabloid interested was the bottom feeding Life & Style to which Lilo released this exclusive statement:

"We didn't break up. No. People need to stop creating drama, it's gross."
