Red is a big colour for Lupita Nyong’o. Remember at the Golden Globes? Lupita in that caped Ralph Lauren? That’s when EVERYONE took notice. That’s when she went next level. And then she won the Oscar.

My ma the Chinese Squawking Chicken says that everyone has a colour. And that certain colours serve different purposes for different people. For Lupita then, I wonder if Red means RISE.

She’s rising for Lancome. And she’s just posted a teaser Lancome’s L’Absolu Rouge on Instagram:
