Once in a while an email will come in from an ardent fan of Mark Strong and she’ll be all indignant about why he’s not featured all the time on this site. Example:

“WHY DON’T YOU POST MORE ABOUT MARK STRONG! HE’S AWESOME!!!!!”

I don’t doubt it. But, first of all, there’s very little gossip out there about him other than the fact that you can often find him bro’ing down with Daniel Craig, and second, it’s not like Mark Strong is photographed every day – I’m not even sure half the people reading this site would have made his face on name recognition alone in the title – and I’m not about to post old photos of him over and over again just to satisfy a minority need. As a consolation then, you can go ‘round feeling elite and special that you’re into an actor that isn’t super mainstream.

Having said that, going forward, when there are new shots of Strong, I’ll do what I can to get them up. Last night he was at the premiere of Attack The Block in London with wife Liza Marshall, a very well respected producer.

For those of you who aren’t members (yet) of the Mark Strong fan club, you may recognise him from a series of villain roles – in Tristan & Isolde, Sherlock Holmes, Kick-Ass, and the upcoming Green Lantern. He does kind of have a dick face, non? It’s working for him lately, obviously, although he doesn’t look super dicky in these pictures. I think it softens him to see him with his spouse. Not sure if they double with Daniel and Rachel Weisz. Will start investigating.
