Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg were at Summer of Sony the other day promoting 2 Guns. When I saw these photos, I wrote to Sarah from Cinesnark asking her if she thought Mark acted like Mark when he was around Denzel, all heavy-dicked and thick-armed, or if she thought he’d be deferential instead. Sarah didn’t think Mark would change. She’s probably right.
I’ve attached the 2 Guns trailer below. The first thing that came to mind for me was Tango & Cash. Do you remember Tango & Cash? And then Mr & Mrs Smith. Oh, here’s my chance to argue, again, that Mr & Mrs Smith is a really underrated movie. As for 2 Guns? I feel like it would be hard to underestimate 2 Guns. PS. I barely recognised Paula Patton.
